A creative, loving environment for those in need of residential and respite care
St. Joseph Home of Cincinnati, located in suburban Sharonville, is home to 47 children and adults with severe/profound mental and physical disabilities. We provide 24-hour nursing and personal care for our residents as well as our short-term guests at our Harold C. Schott Respite Center.
St. Joseph Home is staffed by approximately 150 caring people who work in nursing, direct care, active treatment, physical and occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, nutrition, and psychological services.
What's new at SJH
The residents and staff are welcoming the arrival of May, one of the most beautiful months of the year. The grounds at St. Joseph Home are in full bloom with red bud trees, violets, and various wild flowers. The robins are building their nests and the first garden plants will begin to sprout. With that in mind, our residents will be working on planting the flower boxes, so keep any eye out for herbs and maybe a tomato or two! We’re starting off the month with a workshop dance but after that we’re not going to waste any time indoors. We will be outside enjoying a trip to the zoo, visiting the local parks for walks and concerts, and rounding out the month with a Cincinnati Reds game.
